Who are the healthcare providers with YupMD?

All medical evaluations on the YupMD platform are performed by licensed U.S. physicians or nurse practitioners. Each provider is credentialed and trained in telemedicine, with experience in areas such as weight management, longevity medicine, hormone optimization, and primary care.

Is it legal to prescribe medication online?

Yes. Telehealth is a regulated and legal form of healthcare in the U.S. Our providers follow all federal and state-specific telemedicine laws to safely diagnose conditions, evaluate treatment options, and prescribe medications when medically appropriate.

How quickly will a provider review my medical intake?

In most cases, your intake is reviewed by a provider within 24 hours. If additional clarification is needed, our care team may reach out to confirm details before finalizing your treatment plan?. If you haven't heard from us within that time, feel free to request support at support@yupmd.com.

Is a prescription required to use YupMD services?

Yes. All treatment plans offered through YupMD require a valid prescription. During the intake process, one of our licensed providers will assess your information and determine whether a prescription is safe and appropriate.

How do I contact my provider?

You can communicate with your provider through YupMD's secure patient dashboard. Once your consultation is complete, you'll be able to send follow-up questions and receive updates through our private messaging system.

What should I do if I'm having a medical emergency?

If you are experiencing a medical emergency or any urgent symptoms, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. YupMD is not an emergency provider and cannot offer crisis or emergency support through our platform.
